The weird thing is that it likes the rest of the footage my camera (Lumix G6) kicked out at 1080p59.94, and the 2160p30 footage my cell phone produced, but not AVCHD. After crawling around their site for a while (which I shouldn't have to do in order to buy something like this) I found out it's $9.99 for the 'Premium Formats' package. Worse yet is when I hit the button to go to the HitFilm Store to check out the license their website gave me a 404.
The big issue I've hit so far is that it doesn't support AC-3 audio without purchasing a license.
It reminds me a bit of Premiere in some ways, but simplified.
